I truly have the world's best friends. They may be dispersed and live in Europe, in North America, and/or Asia, but their thoughtfulness, kindness, and sincere friendship despite the years and distance, never fail to amaze me and make me feel deeply grateful. From simple things like cancelling work commitments to be with me, to bringing puddings and toys for my nephews, to driving hours to pick me up and meet me, to taking long detour just to buy me my favourite snacks, to surprising me with childhood snacks in my bedroom, to simply being such understanding and great friends, I often ask the universe what have I done to deserve such beautiful people... Friends are family we choose, rightfully so.
