One of Montreal's Best Restaurants: Maison Boulud at the Ritz-Carlton

After a delightful afternoon of watching the classic Quebecois Christmas musical, "Decembre", of Quebec Issime, we had a wonderful dinner at Maison Boulud at the newly renovated Ritz-Carlton hotel in Montreal.  We had wanted terribly to have the tasting menu, but unfortunately that weekend they did not have it.   

 

 

Homemade Red Wine Marbled Foie Gras Terrine, Sesame Seed Tuile, Concord Raisins

 

Rockefeller Style Oysters, Cauliflower Crémeux, Iberico Lardo, Louis d’Or and Romanesco

 

Marrow Bone, Chanterelle Mushrooms Sabayon, Whole Wheat Bread and Mustard

 

 

Hazelnut Crusted Sea Scallops, Mushroom and Black Truffle Coulis, Spinach and Rice Emulsion

 

Lobster gnocchi

 

 

Meringue, Pear, Vanilla and Walnut, Chantilly and Custard Sauce

 

 

Chocolate Coulant, Fleur de Sel Liquid Caramel, Caramelized Milk Ice Cream
